winter wonderland

Snow. For the second time this year already, and it's only December 1st! It snowed a couple of inches on Tuesday, but it was melted by Wednesday morning. Then today, it started snowing about mid-morning, there's already three inches on the ground, and it's just now quit, at least for the moment. Please, please *please* don't let the temperature drop to the point where the roads freeze over by the time I get off work at six. Please?

Quilt group got cancelled tonight (sigh). Guess I'll eat my potluck dip and crackers for dinner tonight.

I have to drive to downtown Tacoma tomorrow (want a nice, steep, icy hill, little girl?) for my appointment with the surgeon. Wish me luck.
