I am hopeless, completely hopeless
Indulging my inner teenager today at Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
For all that it earned every bit of its PG-13 rating, bordering on mild horror (about all I can stand in that direction) in places, this has got to be the most laugh-out-loud movie in the series to date. In both senses of the term.
I'm not a Potter fanatic, although I've read all the books, and own the first three DVDs (and definitely will purchase this one), and Goblet of Fire is my least favorite book in the series so far, but this is decidedly my favorite of the movies.
It was the attitude, I think. And the juxtapositions. And the way they cut out almost all the parts that made the book my least favorite and left all the good stuff (g).
Anyway. Grown-up mmegaera will reappear soon.
Maybe.
